Garden docents help Garden visitors understand and appreciate California plant life. The docent training class helps participants develop the knowledge and skills to lead tours and greet visitors. The class covers native plant biology, California ecology, Botanic Garden history, horticulture, Native American uses of plants, tour techniques, and more.
The 2026 docent training class will meet on Wednesdays 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM starting January 7, 2026 and will run weekly through June 24, 2026.
