The Friends 30th anniversary commemorative poster has been designed by botanic artist Dr. Linda Ann Vorobik and printed at Berkeley Giclee. The poster features Arctostaphylos australis ‘La Favorita’, which was introduced by the Regional Parks Botanic Garden and named by Director Bart O’Brien.
Linda is a Research Associate at the University Herbarium, University of California, Berkeley, and at the Herbarium, University of Washington, Seattle. She specializes in botanical illustration and plant systematics. She is the principal illustrator for botanical publications including the Jepson Manual. This is a limited edition print. A portion of the proceeds will support the 30th Anniversary Rock Garden Campaign. Posters are on archival paper, measure 11” x 14”, have a cardboard backing, and are enclosed in a cellophane sleeve. The poster is available for a LIMITED, ONE TIME ONLY OPPORTUNITY UNTIL AUGUST 14 and will be available for pickup at the August 22 anniversary event. For those unable to attend, posters can be mailed for an additional charge.
