Ben Anderson, Botanic Garden gardener, will present a diverse assemblage of geophytes from the world's Mediterranean regions. We will look at bulb and bulb-like plants from families like Iridaceae, Amaryllidaceae, Alliaceae, Liliaceae, Asparagaceae, and beyond. The Bay Area is a great place to try growing many of these fun, often ephemeral charmers.
