Echo Azure (Celastrina echo) is a small butterfly, with a wingspan of 0.75 - 1.25 inches. It can be seen in our local area from March to mid-July. Numbers peak in June, but are also high in March. Host plants include Ceanothus, California Buckeye (Aesculus californica), Dogwood (Cornus), and Blackberries (Rubus).
It is found in a wide belt along the west coast from British Columbia to Baja California.
