













The Regional Parks Botanic Garden is a naturally beautiful and tranquil living museum of California native plants. Located within Tilden Regional Park in the hills above Berkeley, California, this enchanting 10-acre garden is a sanctuary for many of the state's rare and endangered plants and a place for visitors to wander among trees, shrubs, flowers, and grasses from plant communities throughout the state. The Botanic Garden is welcoming to all visitors from our entire Bay Area community and travelers to the Bay Area.
Walks

We normally offer one set of weekend walks each month. Only for July and August, we are adding a set of Wednesday walks.

Sales are Wed 10:00 AM-12:00 PM and the first Sat of the month 10:00 AM-2:00 PM. Wed and Sat plant sales will be on hiatus after Sat, July 5, so that the plant sale volunteers can prepare for the Fall Plant Sale in October.
Our knowledgeable docents provide free guided tours on non-rainy Sat, Sun, and holidays.

Although there are hundreds of families worldwide, knowing 50 basic families in California will identify most plants 90 percent of the time. This series, taught by Glenn Keator, will emphasize families important in California by examining their features in the garden.
