2024 Docent Training Class

The Regional Parks Botanic Garden is accepting applicants for our 2024 docent training class.  The purpose of the training is to help participants develop the knowledge and skills necessary to lead Garden tours and to greet visitors. The next class runs from January 10 to June 26, 2024.

Floral Arrangement Workshop

Join us for a fee-based floral arrangement workshop using California native plants.
Sunday, August 20th, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Total cost is $110.75 per person. Maximum 10 people.

Special July Weekend Plant Sale

A special summer plant sale will be held July 15-16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days.
The sale will be at the Juniper Lodge, where the weekly plant sales have been.
This will be the last plant sale until the Fall Sale on October 7th, 2023.

June: Pride Month and Juneteenth

On Monday, June 19, 2023, there will be free docent-led Garden tours in honor of the Juneteenth holiday. For this holiday there will be two tours, starting at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Upcoming Class Series

Botanist Glenn Keator will be offering a class series on Bay Area Locations to Botanize. Each class will cover a different area, and will be a monthly in-person lecture starting in March, 2023. There is a one-time fee of $90 for the series. Click on Read More to signup.
