Celebrating 30 Years of Volunteers,
Stewardship and Support

This year, the Friends of the Regional Parks Botanic Garden will commemorate 30 years of dedicated support for one of California’s most treasured collections of native plants with a celebration on August 22, 2026. This occasion will honor the Garden’s beauty, the enduring commitment of its staff and volunteers, and the generosity of its supporters. We will also recognize Glenn Keator and his foundational role in creating the Friends organization. Members will receive RSVP invitations shortly. Those who are not yet members are warmly invited to join and share in this milestone. Become a member.

To highlight this anniversary year, the Friends organization is launching a fundraising campaign to complete the West Gate Rock Garden project. Designed within the Redwood Section, the project will feature rare California native plants while creating an inviting entrance that reflects the Garden’s character.

Donor levels and benefits are listed below. The campaign aims to raise $30,000 by August 24. Every gift helps complete the project. Contributions can be made at the August 22 celebration.
