Join Glenn Keator for a series of classes on advanced botanical topics. The class dates and topics are:

  • Oct 17 10am to 12pm – Keying #1
  • Oct 23 10am to 12pm – Keying #2
  • Oct 30 10am to 12pm – Conifers
  • Nov 6 10am to 12pm – Growing Natives
  • Nov 13 10am to 12pm – Oaks
  • Nov 20 10am to 12pm – Plant Communities

Glenn Keator has taught at Merritt College, SF Botanical Garden, College of Marin, and California Academy of Sciences among others. His primary focus is on California native plants – their identification, ecology, uses and cultivation in local gardens. He initiated the docent training program at the East Bay Regional Parks Botanic Garden, where he continues to teach and inspire new generations of plant enthusiasts.
