Members of the Friends of the Regional Parks Botanic Garden are treated to occasional, free, members-only special events, including field trips, talks, and celebrations.

Past events have included a slide presentation and tour of a famous private all-California native garden, a field trip to see local fall color in the wild led by a popular botanist, a talk and reception with a noted native plant gardening book author, and a luncheon to celebrate completion of the Garden's pond renovation project.
